Description

Kidwell is looking for an operations leader who can help take our growing Integrated Systems Division to the next level. This role is more than keeping the operation moving. It is about bringing people, processes, and resources together to improve performance, solve challenges, and create an operation that is built to scale. Working closely with the Executive Director of Integrated Systems, the Operations Manager will help turn strategic priorities into strong execution while delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

This role oversees project delivery, service operations, workforce planning, process improvement, and departmental performance. The Operations Manager works across Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Service, and Field Operations to ensure the division operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with Kidwell's values and customer commitments.

Primary Responsibilities Operational Leadership
  • Assist in developing and executing departmental goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure projects and service activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and consistently.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements that support scalability and growth.
  • Prepare and communicate operational performance metrics and department status reports.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to team members and department leaders.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
Project & Service Delivery
  • Ensure successful execution of projects and service commitments while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Field Operations to coordinate resources and priorities.
  • Assist in resolving customer escalations and operational challenges.
  • Ensure proper project turnover, documentation, and customer handoff processes are completed.
  • Support departmental budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning efforts.
  • Monitor labor utilization, productivity, backlog, and profitability metrics.
  • Assist in aligning staffing levels and operational resources with business demand.
Process Improvement
  • Develop, document, and improve operational processes and standards.
  • Promote effective use of business systems, reporting tools, and documentation practices.
  • Lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
