bVital | Park City, UT | Full-Time | In-Person
Who You Are
You have worked with patients that most clinicians have quietly given up on. TBI survivors told their symptoms are "just how it is now." Parkinson's patients handed a prescription and a pamphlet. People with complex chronic illness who have bounced between specialists for years without a real answer.
You did not give up on them. You kept looking.
You have probably gone deep on neuroinflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, vagal tone, gut-brain axis, or frequency-based neurological support not because it was required, but because you believed there was more to offer these patients than what conventional neurology had on the menu.
What frustrates you: being handed a 15-minute appointment slot for a patient with a traumatic brain injury. A system that measures progress in symptom management rather than actual recovery. Practices where "we don't really know" is the end of the conversation, not the beginning.
You want to work somewhere that takes neurological healing seriously. Somewhere with the tools, the time, and the clinical culture to pursue real recovery with patients who have real complexity.
If that is the kind of work you are looking for, keep reading.
About bVital
bVital is an integrative health center in Park City, UT specializing in brain regeneration, neurological recovery, and complex chronic illness. We work with TBI survivors, Parkinson's patients, and people navigating conditions that conventional medicine has struggled to address. Our approach combines functional medicine, bioenergetics, regenerative therapies, frequency-based healing, and advanced diagnostics to pursue root-cause recovery, not symptom management.
Our patients arrive having tried everything else. We meet them with a team that takes their complexity seriously and the tools to actually do something about it.
We are a small, values-driven practice. Clinicians here have real autonomy, deep patient relationships, and a team behind them that handles the coordination so they can stay focused on care.
The Role
You will carry a caseload of 5 to 8 patients per day, outpatient only, no on-call, no weekends. These are not straightforward cases. They are patients with TBI, Parkinson's, post-viral neurological syndromes, autoimmune conditions, and complex chronic illness who need a clinician willing to build a real plan and see it through.
Clinical Care:
  • Conduct comprehensive neurological and functional intakes: cognitive history, trauma timeline, inflammatory burden, gut-brain markers, mitochondrial function, and energetic assessment
  • Build individualized treatment plans for TBI recovery, Parkinson's management, and complex chronic illness using functional diagnostics and regenerative protocols
  • Order and interpret specialty labs: neuroinflammatory panels, organic acids, DUTCH, GI-MAP, heavy metals, advanced lipids, and brain-specific biomarkers
  • Provide and oversee IV, LDL apheresis, and regenerative medicine therapies
  • Integrate frequency-based tools, bioenergetics, and regenerative modalities into patient care plans
  • Track functional outcomes over time: cognitive scores, symptom progression, quality of life, and neurological recovery markers
  • Work with patients and families navigating the emotional and logistical weight of serious neurological conditions
Team Collaboration:
  • Partner with coaches, frequency technicians, and wellness practitioners for integrated care across physical, neurological, and energetic dimensions
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director on complex case reviews, protocol development, and clinical standards
  • Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR and contribute to outcomes tracking
Patient and Family Education:
  • Translate complex neurological and functional findings into clear, hopeful, actionable language
  • Support patients and their families in understanding the recovery process and what to realistically expect
  • Coach lifestyle interventions that directly support neurological healing: sleep, nutrition, movement, stress physiology, and cognitive engagement
Who You Are (Requirements and Fit):
Must-haves:
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN/NP): FNP, AGNP, or equivalent
  • Active Utah NP license (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Clinical experience with neurological conditions, TBI, or complex chronic illness
  • Functional medicine training or hands-on experience applying functional principles to patient care
  • Confidence with IV therapy protocols and integrative treatment planning
Bonus points:
  • IFM, A4M, FMU, or similar functional medicine certification
  • Experience with TMS therapy, regenerative medicine injections
  • Familiarity with frequency-based or energetic healing tools (NES Health, MiHealth, PEMF, etc.)
  • Background in trauma-informed care, neuropsychology, or brain health coaching
You thrive here if:
  • You are energized by complex cases, not worn down by them. A TBI patient with five overlapping issues is a puzzle you want to solve, not a chart you want to close.
  • You believe neurological recovery is possible further down the timeline than most clinicians do, and you can build a care plan that reflects that belief.
  • You communicate with patients and families honestly: clear about what we know, clear about what we are working toward, and never dismissive of what they are experiencing.
This is not for you if:
  • You prefer straightforward, acute-care cases with clear protocols and quick resolution
  • You are not comfortable with the uncertainty that comes with complex neurological and chronic illness cases
  • You are skeptical of integrative or regenerative approaches to neurological healing
How You Will Be Measured:
  1. Patient neurological and functional outcomes: Are patients showing measurable improvement in cognitive scores, symptom burden, and quality of life over time?
  2. Treatment plan quality: Are your treatments root-cause focused, leveraging existing clinic protocols and responsive to how the patient is actually progressing?
  3. Patient and family trust: Do patients stay engaged in care, bring their families in, and refer others to bVital?
Compensation and Details:
  • Pay: Competitive salary (discussed in interview based on experience)
  • Benefits: Health insurance, 401K, employee wellness discounts, access to clinical and frequency-based therapies
  • Professional development: Ongoing training, mastermind weekends, mentorship, thought leadership opportunities
  • Schedule: No weekends, no on-call, outpatient only
  • Location: 1755 Prospector Ave Suite 100, Park City, UT 84060
  • Employment: Full-time, in-person
Include the following in your application:
  • Your resume
  • A short cover letter (3 to 5 sentences) answering: Tell us about a complex neurological or chronic illness patient you worked with. What did you try that conventional medicine had not, and what happened?
  • Any certifications or case examples you are proud to share
