Fun Spot is seeking enthusiastic and guest-focused individuals to join our dynamic team as Food and Beverage Team Members. As a member of our food and beverage team, you will play a crucial role in creating memories and enjoyable experiences for our guests.

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports to: Food & Beverage Team Lead and Department Manager

Pay Range: $14.00-$16.00 (Florida)

Location: Orlando, Kissimmee

Workers Comp Code: 9083

Travel: None

Availability requirements: At least 1 weekend day until closing and 1 weekday required 

Work Status: part-time under 30 hours per week


Key Objectives

  • Engage with guests by greeting them with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing excellent guest service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the food areas. 
  • Assist guests and respond to any questions or concerns
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to special requests and dietary needs.
  • Handle cash, and electronic funds, and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with Fun Spot's quality standards.
  • Maintain all food safety standards set forth by Fun Spot Theme Parks as well as state and local regulations.
  • Handle and process multiple food orders efficiently. 
  • Handle cash and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the food and beverage services.
  • Manage stock and inventory of food supplies; Restock supplies if necessary.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals by upselling souvenir cups, snacks, and other food & beverage items.
  • Responds to any guest concerns by problem solving and asking for leadership assistance when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food and beverage areas.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Complete any other duties to assist with the operation of the park.

Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Ability to complete and pass the State Food Safety Certification exam
  • Ability to pass cash handler certification
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park's drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
  • Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.

  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. 
  • Ability to move around and stand for long periods of time
