We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2025 season starting in March! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional lawn care services to residential and commercial properties.  Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Team Member

YOU ARE the Front-Line Employee! You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care. The team performs basic tasks related to lawn care maintenance at high levels of quality

and service delivery.

  • Mowing & trimming and occasionally weed control, including additional periodic help assisting with seasonal aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning.
  • Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers and line trimmers.
  • Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate.
  • Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available.
  • Performs other L&L duties as required.

  • Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
  • Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
  • Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
  • Full Utilization of Processes and any offered software: This helps make all the above possible.

 Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Member

  • High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
  • One year experience in this or a related field is preferred but not required for the right person. (If not you must be willing to complete training within 6 months).
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record is a must.
  • Willingness to work in the dirt, mow in the heat and enjoy having fun in the process.
  • This is a fast pace job, you must be be fast on your feet, move quickly and lift up to 35-80 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature i.e. MUST be able to work in a multitude of environments from cool fall & winter months to very hot & humid summer months.
  • In addition, there are a few additional mandatory requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position which include the occasional weekend project and seasonal snow removal at the discretion of management.

Benefits & Pay

The starting pay range for this position is up to $19.00 per hour and is dependent on your experience in lawncare or landscaping. Frequent reviews and performance evaluations will dictate pay increases.
