Fun Sales professionals often face the challenge of maintaining high energy and enthusiasm during repetitive or fast-paced shifts, particularly in environments that cater to a lively customer base. It can also be demanding to balance meeting sales targets while ensuring that customer interactions remain genuinely enjoyable and not overly sales-driven. However, such earnings are not common and depend on industry, company, and individual performance.

  • Assist with receiving and processing product deliveries
  • Support the creation and maintenance of displays and product setups
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization inside the store and in exterior areas
  • Assist with product assembly and display preparation when needed
  • Contribute to team sales goals and participate in team meetings and store initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and store operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications include:

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask while staying attentive to customers on the sales floor
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous retail and POS experience preferred but not required
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Office
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds

Why Join the Plow & Hearth Shoppes Team?

  • Work in a beautiful and historic retail destination
  • Be part of a friendly, collaborative team

  • Participate in fun sales events and seasonal promotions
  • Enjoy a generous team member discount and the opportunity to purchase many one-of-a-kind items at deep discounts
