Job description

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking an exceptional Construction Materials Testing Project Manager (CMT PM) to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a COT PM, you'll take charge of supervising Construction Field Technicians in the field, conducting crucial observations and testing related to Special Inspections during site work and building construction. Your role will involve compiling comprehensive reports and overseeing field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and structural steel. Collaborating closely with technical experts, you'll coordinate personnel and equipment while liaising with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and management entities to address challenges swiftly and ensure project requirements are meticulously fulfilled. Requirements

Successful Project Manager candidates must have:

  • 5 years of COT experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is a plus
  • NICET, ICC, ACI or other certifications
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate projects
  • Good driving record, valid driver's license and your own vehicle
