Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-Based), East Coast Hours Required - New Jersey Preferred

Compensation: $80,000 Base Salary + Performance Incentive Plan

On-Target Earnings: $150,000-$200,000+

About Heritage Builders

Heritage Builders is a technology-driven residential roofing company serving homeowners throughout the Northeast. As part of a growing national roofing platform, we combine the agility of a local brand with the resources, stability, and growth opportunities of a larger organization. Our sales model is fully remote. We leverae aerial measurement technology, digital estimating tools, and virtual consultations so homeowners can get a quote and buy a new roof without an in-home sales visit.

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Inside Sales Manager to own the performance of our phone-based sales team. . This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. You will start by leading a team of approximately 10 (and growing) of remote sales representatives responsible for selling re-roofs through a fully virtual sales process. Your primary objective is simple: increase revenue per rep by installing world-class coaching, speed-to-lead, follow-up discipline, and KPI accountability.

What You Will Own

You will be directly responsible for team quota and the systems that drive it:

Own team sales targets: daily, weekly and monthly revenue, close rate and conversion metrics.

Build and lead a structured call-review and coaching program, including scorecards, call grading, role-playing, objection handling, and closing drills.

Establish and enforce speed-to-lead standards with first-contact expectations measured in seconds/minutes (<60 to 5 mins), not hours.

Create structured, multi-touch follow-up processes (calls, text, email) to maximize conversion throughout longer homeowner buying cycles.

Develop and manage KPI dashboards focused on speed-to-lead, contact rate, set rate, close rate, average ticket, follow-up completion and pipeline coverage

Run a consistent sales rhythm: daily huddles, weekly call-review sessions, weekly 1:1s with each rep; monthly performance reviews and development plans.

Regularly review recorded calls and provide specific, actionable coaching to improve individual and team performance.

Partner with leadership to improve scripts, sales processes, reporting, and technology utilization as we scale

Assist with recruiting, interviewing and onboarding and developing future sales representatives.

Act as a player-coach when needed: jump into live customer calls to model best practices and help secure key opportunities.

Required Qualifications

3+ years leading and coaching a remote inside sales team (phone or zoom-based), ideally 10-15+ reps

Proven track record implementing a repeatable call-coaching system that improved close rates and/or revenue per rep leading and coaching remote inside sales teams.

Experience selling and managing teams selling high-ticket residential home improvement products valued at $10,000+.

Roofing industry experience strongly preferred.

Candidates from solar, windows, siding, remodeling, bath, kitchen, HVAC or similar industries will also be considered.

Strong understanding of homeowner psychology, financing conversations, and multi-touch sales cycles.

Experience building and enforcing speed-to-lead and structured follow-up systems.

Strong CRM, pipeline management skills; you enforce clean data and activity tracking.

Metrics-driven leadership style with the ability to manage through KPIs, not feelings.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving structure.

Willingness to personally engage in sales conversations and "get on the phone" withthe team when needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate comes from roofing, solar, HVAC, or another high-ticket home improvement environment and has already built coaching systems, follow-up discipline, and accountability structures that moved the numbers. You are energized by building processes, developing people, and turning an inside sales team into a consistent, predictable revenue machine.
