Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist with Welbehealth, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate, ethical individual therapy sessions through video conferencing, ensuring a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Implementing solution-focused treatment approaches tailored to individual client needs, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Developing and regularly updating personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health challenges and promote client growth.
• Facilitating self-discovery by helping clients gain insights into their emotions, thought patterns, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitoring client progress over the course of their treatment journey and assisting them in adopting effective coping strategies to enhance their emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with low acuity adults who are assessing and managing their mental health needs. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experience a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Our mission is to empower these individuals by equipping them with the skills and strategies they need to improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No provisional licenses and a clean disciplinary history.
• Remarkable interpersonal skills, empathetic nature, and professionalism in handling client interactions.
• Strong computer proficiency to effectively utilize telehealth platforms and digital tools.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities will be advantageous. An ongoing commitment to professional development and staying informed about mental health trends will enhance your efficacy in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Welbehealth offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, determined by your working hours and client caseload. In addition, we provide a range of benefits including:
