Job description

Job Summary:
Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) that is growing rapidly and seeking a full-time SDET to join their IT team. This role is crucial for ensuring that custom software solutions are designed, built, and implemented correctly, focusing on test automation and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
• Create new and maintain existing test automation code with a high degree of quality;
• Promote best practices in code health, testability, and maintainability;
• Work with members of the development and validation teams to determine the best areas of the applicaton to automate;
• Implement automation regression suites;
• Perform exploratory testing when needed; and
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in automation testing and/or software development
• Experience with black and white box testing
• Experience with automation platforms like Selenium or Cypress
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience in testing web applications and APIs
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
