Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support industrial automation and electrical control systems in a manufacturing environment. The role will focus on PLC programming, automation troubleshooting, and electrical system design to support plant operations and capital projects.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can manage projects, oversee contractors, and ensure safe, efficient electrical systems across production operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment

  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems

  • Configure and maintain industrial automation networks

  • Manage capital and expense budgets for plant electrical projects

  • Oversee contractors and coordinate with maintenance technicians

  • Ensure compliance with equipment safety standards

  • Support plant operations by resolving automation and electrical system issues


Required Skills
  • Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs

  • PLC programming and troubleshooting

  • Experience with remote I/O and HMIs

  • Knowledge of Rockwell automation software

  • Industrial Ethernet communication and machine network layout

  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards including NFPA 70E

  • Ability to manage electrical projects and budgets
