Fulltime Realtor information

How much does a realtor make off of a $300,000 house?

A full-time realtor typically earns a commission of about 2.5% to 3% of the home's sale price, so on a $300,000 house, they would earn approximately $7,500 to $9,000 before expenses. The commission is usually split with the brokerage and may be shared with other agents involved in the sale. Actual earnings depend on the commission rate, split agreements, and whether the agent is the listing or buyer's agent.

Is it possible to be a real estate agent with a full-time job?

Yes, a full-time realtor can work part-time or flexible hours to accommodate a full-time job. Many real estate agents manage their schedules around client appointments, property showings, and negotiations, making it feasible to pursue real estate alongside other employment. Success often depends on time management, local market activity, and licensing requirements.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A full-time realtor can earn $10,000 or more per month through commissions on property sales, especially in high-value markets. Success in this role depends on sales skills, networking, and market knowledge, with no formal degree required but licensing is necessary. Income varies based on experience, effort, and local real estate demand.
