We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Quality Assurance Nurse position in the Canton area.
Job Description:
A Quality Assurance Nurse is responsible for assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency and for reviewing documentation for appropriateness of care.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed LPN in the State of Michigan
  • 5+ year's required in Quality Assurance
  • Experience in reviewing nurses' notes for completeness, compliance with physicians' orders, authorized services, regulations required
  • Experience in reviewing admission packets required
  • Experience required in reviewing all POC and recertification for:accuracy, order updates, frequency updates, goal updates, medication profiles review, format and wording, diagnoses update, C.N.A. care plan
  • Conducts one-on-one in-services for documentation problems as needed
  • Experience with hospice, home health or any experience in the healthcare field required
  • Ability to travel
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Clean background and drug screen
