About Federated Service Solutions

At Federated Service Solutions, we move fast, solve real problems, and make complex rollouts look easy. We partner with customers to deliver results that work in the real world, not just on paper. Our teams operate with ownership, accountability, and a bias toward action. We don’t rely on layers of approval or overcomplicated processes. We trust our people to do what they say they will do and to step up when it matters.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Purchasing Manager who doesn’t just place orders, they own outcomes.

This role sits at the center of operations, field execution, and vendor partnerships. You will lead a team, drive purchasing strategy, and ensure the right materials show up at the right time without excuses. You are someone who follows through, communicates early when something is off, and finds a way to solve it before it becomes a problem. You don’t wait for issues to escalate. You get ahead of them. If you take pride in running a tight operation, building strong vendor relationships, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks, this is your seat.

What You’ll Do

+ Lead and develop the purchasing team, setting clear expectations and ensuring accountability across all buying activities

+ Own vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure competitive pricing, reliability, and service quality

+ Oversee the full purchasing lifecycle including purchase orders, order tracking, issue resolution, and delivery coordination

+ Partner with operations, project managers, and leadership to forecast demand and align purchasing with project timelines

+ Manage inventory strategy including stock levels, forecasting, and optimization to avoid shortages and excess

+ Review contracts, pricing structures, and supplier performance to ensure vendors are meeting expectations and delivering value

+ Use purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements

+ Anticipate risks in the supply chain and take action before they impact field execution or customer outcomes

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

+ 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles

+ Strong experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing

+ Proven ability to support fast-paced operations with multiple stakeholders

+ Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred)

+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

+ Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Experience

+ Experience in service-based or field operations environments

+ Background leading purchasing strategy or driving process improvements

+ Experience managing supplier performance at a high level
