Position Overview

Mindful Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team in Bonita Springs, Florida. This position offers a salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This onsite position takes place in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, where a caring community of professionals is focused on patient-centered care. Our physical therapists operate in a drug-free workplace and are required to comply with health and safety protocols, including vaccination requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient limitations and develop tailored treatment plans that align with individual needs.
  • Implement and adjust intervention strategies based on patient progress, providing ongoing education to patients and their families about the treatment process.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff including physical therapy aides and interns, ensuring the efficient operation of the department.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and marketing initiatives aimed at promoting wellness and preventive care in the community.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and in-service training, adhering to the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients at various stages of rehabilitation, from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Our diverse clientele includes children, adults, and seniors, each requiring a unique approach tailored to their specific needs. Utilizing a variety of techniques, you will play a pivotal role in guiding them towards achieving their functional goals and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly in electronic health records systems.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, candidates with additional specialized training or certifications in areas such as orthopedic rehabilitation, sports therapy, or geriatrics will be highly regarded. Experience in a team-oriented environment with a strong focus on patient care and customer service is also desirable.
