Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Physiolife Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

  • Directing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatments designed to prevent disability, alleviate pain, and restore function, following the established treatment plan.
  • Supervising and guiding physical therapy assistants in their work, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols and effective patient care delivery.
  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patientsโ€™ physical capabilities through diagnostic and prognostic assessments of muscles, joints, and functional movements.
  • Assessing home environments to ensure safe and effective rehabilitation strategies, and making recommendations to enhance patientsโ€™ independence.
  • Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of physical agents, including traction and massage, within a patient-centered approach.
  • Evaluating, fitting, and recommending modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians.
  • Contributing to the development, review, and updates of patient care plans, ensuring they remain aligned with patient progress and goals.
  • Documenting clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participating actively as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing insights during case conferences to optimize holistic care.
  • Educating patients and their families on therapy devices and therapeutic exercises, fostering their engagement in the treatment process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Physiolife will involve a wide array of patients, ranging from those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions to individuals seeking to improve mobility and quality of life. We serve diverse populations, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, elderly patients in need of rehabilitation following hospitalization, and patients experiencing pain management challenges. Qualifications

To be considered for the Full-Time Physical Therapist position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current, valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida in good standing.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or home care setting.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and automobile insurance are required.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a demonstrated passion for clinical excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with patients and families effectively, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
