Position Overview

Mindful Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (OPT) to join our dedicated team in Dulles, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and overall well-being. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Dulles, Virginia. Our facility features advanced rehabilitation equipment and technologies to support effective physical therapy treatments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ physical conditions, identifying functional limitations and disabilities.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans in accordance with patients’ goals and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and proper exercise techniques.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, rehabilitation aides, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes while adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Participate in routine staff meetings, case discussions, and continued education sessions to enhance clinical skills and teamwork.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of physical health and the services provided at Mindful Physical Therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population ranges from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals undergoing rehabilitation after surgery or trauma. As a physical therapist at Mindful Physical Therapy, you will work with clients with varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your care approach. Your role is vital in facilitating optimal recovery and improving patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure for Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in documentation and electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service and engaging effectively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is required, candidates with advanced certifications in manual therapy or specialized rehabilitation techniques will be strongly considered. Additional experience in community outreach or leadership roles is a plus.
