The role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Dulles, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans designed to improve patients' functional capabilities.
• Re-evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly based on progress and feedback.
• Engage in direct patient consultation, discussing their treatment journey and maintaining clear communication about their care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding exercises, treatment goals, and pain management strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and case managers, to optimize each patient's continuum of care.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations, including billing and coding for services rendered.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, those with chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and age-related mobility issues. As a Physical Therapist at Mindful Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that you tailor your treatment approaches to meet their specific needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Currently hold or be eligible for a state license in Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and various office productivity software.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and patient management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Mindful Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
