Build confident smiles while enjoying exceptional work-life balance, advanced technology, and the support of the nation's largest orthodontic support organization.

An established, thriving orthodontic practice is seeking a full-time Orthodontist to join its growing team serving Ashland, Kentucky, and the Portsmouth, Ohio area. Located just 30 minutes apart, these modern practices offer an established patient base, experienced clinical teams, and the technology you need to provide exceptional care.

Whether you're an experienced orthodontist looking for your next long-term opportunity or a new graduate seeking mentorship and support, you'll enjoy clinical autonomy, outstanding resources, and an excellent quality of life in the beautiful Tri-State region.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

Modern, Established Practices

  • Two fully equipped orthodontic offices with 8 operatories each
  • Established patient base with consistent new patient flow
  • Experienced, collaborative clinical team
  • Dedicated Treatment Coordinator
  • Five experienced orthodontic assistants providing chairside support

Practice with Confidence

You'll have the autonomy to:

  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Select appliances and treatment mechanics
  • Prescribe and manage Invisalign treatment
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered orthodontic care

Advanced Technology

Both offices feature a fully digital workflow, including:

  • iTero digital scanners
  • i-CAT CBCT imaging
  • On-site 3D printers
  • Digital intraoral imaging and treatment planning

Flexible Schedule & Outstanding Work-Life Balance

  • Approximately three clinical days and one half-day of administrative time each week
  • Flexible clinic schedule designed around provider needs
  • Current scheduling model provides five consecutive days off every other week
  • Easy commute between offices, located approximately 30 minutes apart

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive guaranteed compensation plus production incentives
  • Sign-on bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Continuing education allowance
  • Professional dues and licensure assistance
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Generous paid time off

About the Community

Live and practice in the scenic Tri-State region, where Ashland, Kentucky, and Portsmouth, Ohio, offer an exceptional combination of affordability, outdoor recreation, and small-town charm. Enjoy easy access to Huntington, West Virginia, for additional shopping, dining, entertainment, and regional airport access, while maintaining a relaxed lifestyle and a significantly lower cost of living than many metropolitan markets.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred
  • Eligible for licensure in Kentucky and Ohio (or willing to obtain)
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and creating confident, healthy smiles

Join a practice where you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: clinical autonomy with the backing of the nation's largest orthodontic support organization, cutting-edge technology, an experienced team, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patients and the communities you serve.
