The work schedule is typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends or evenings required for special events or emergencies, providing flexibility in your work life.

• Manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and seamless check-in processes.
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with detail and accuracy, facilitating effective communication and documentation.
• Greet patients warmly, gathering comprehensive medical histories in an empathetic manner to prepare them for evaluations or treatments.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures, demonstrating proficiency with medical instruments and maintaining sterile conditions.
• Collect and prep laboratory specimens following strict protocols to ensure accurate results and patient safety.
• Administer medications, including injections, observing the highest standards of safety and compliance with treatment protocols.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests—such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring—documenting findings that aid in patient diagnosis.
• Provide clear instructions regarding medication usage and procedures, empowering patients with knowledge of their health.
• Perform routine patient care tasks including taking vital signs and recording height and weight, ensuring meticulous documentation.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in examination rooms, methodically sterilizing instruments and managing inventory of medical supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to ensure coordinated patient care and comprehensive treatment planning.

• A strong ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting is crucial.

• Prior experience in a medical assistant role, particularly within a dermatology or primary care setting, is highly valued.
• Experience with EHR systems, specifically with scheduling and patient management features, will be considered a strong asset.
• Advanced skills in laboratory procedures and patient education are a plus, contributing to holistic patient care.
