Job description

Senior System Administrator โ€“ Tucson, AZ Location: Tucson, AZ โ€“ 1151 E Hermans Rd โ€“ BLDG 848. U.S. citizenship is required and an active Secret clearance is mandatory. Onsite position. 3rd shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 11:00 PM โ€“ 8:00 AM (12% shift differential). 100% onโ€site support and occasional overtime. What You Will Do Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment. Maintain Windows Server and Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope, including hardware & OS integration. Understand data RAID, backup technologies, and implement them. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to keep security requirements met. Document and train on advanced IT processes and procedures. Support systems operating 24x7; occasionally work beyond standard hours. Travel up to 10% per year to other domestic locations as needed. Required Qualifications University Degree or equivalent experience plus at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with Linux or Windows. Experience with Active Directory, VMware, backup and recovery. Preferred Qualifications DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification, e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent OS certification. Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, DoD/RMF. Experience with NAS, SAN technologies and solutions. Experience with IT project lifecycle management. Experience with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, ESX or other virtual computing methods. Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange. High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment. Scripting experience.
