Our organization, a 25-bed critical access hospital, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Urology Physician Assistant to become part of our skilled and cooperative team.
The selected candidate will play a vital role in enhancing our Urology services within the community. This position involves close collaboration with the Urology team from a nearby hospital, whose physicians will provide rotating on-site coverage at our facility. The Urology Physician Assistant will serve as a consistent, full-time presence, ensuring that local patients have reliable access to care.
Desired Qualifications &
ExperienceEducation/Training:- Graduation from an accredited Physician Associate program.
- Prior experience working as a Physician Associate is essential.
- Familiarity with incision and drainage (I&D) procedures, catheter placement, and post-operative wound care is highly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:- Must be eligible to obtain a PA license in the State of Maine.
- DEA certification is required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
