Fulltime Flight Simulator Instructor information
What is the difference between Fulltime Flight Simulator Instructor vs Part-time Flight Simulator Instructor?
| Aspect | Fulltime Flight Simulator Instructor | Part-time Flight Simulator Instructor |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Requires FAA certifications, flight instructor ratings, and simulator training | Same certifications but may have less extensive experience |
| Work Environment | Full-time employment at training centers or airlines | Part-time roles, often freelance or contract-based |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Common in airlines, flight schools, and military training | Used for supplemental training or seasonal work |
Fulltime Flight Simulator Instructors typically work full-time at training facilities, holding comprehensive certifications and providing consistent instruction. Part-time Flight Simulator Instructors usually work fewer hours, often on a contractual basis, and may have similar credentials but less overall experience. Both roles serve the aviation industry but differ mainly in hours, employment stability, and workload.
