Job description

We’re hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for a full-time, on-site role in Ringgold, GA. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce high-precision metal components.

Pay: $18.75 to $24/hr, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts

  • Load programs, make offsets, and complete tool changes

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

  • Select tooling, speeds, and feeds based on materials and tolerances

  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges

  • Maintain tight tolerances and required surface finishes

  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues

  • Perform basic maintenance and keep work area clean

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of CNC lathe operating experience

  • Strong understanding of CNC machining and turning operations

  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T

  • Skilled with precision measuring tools

  • Experience machining steel, stainless, aluminum, and alloys

  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills

Preferred:

  • CNC setup experience

  • Basic G-code editing/programming

  • Experience with multi-axis or live-tooling lathes

  • Technical or vocational machining training


Pay Details: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
