Job description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our unique pharmacy! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist -- more than putting pills in a bottle, we make things from scratch!

Responsibilities:

  • Sterile lab duties: cleaning, prepping sterile products, handling syringes and sterile prescriptions
  • Customer service for walk in patients and over the phone
  • Prepare, process and end-package medications
  • Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
  • Process prescriptions using computer software
  • Label and record dosage information
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies

Qualifications:

  • PTCB certification recommended, but not necessary
  • Must have previous experience in pharmacy - including Georgia Board of Pharmacy Registration
  • Must have sterile pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
