Job description

Location: New York, NY (hybrid, preferred) - exceptional candidates outside NY considered for fully remote (US-based only)

Type: Full-time, permanent

Department: Influencer & Creator Partnerships

Reports to: Influencer Lead / Account Leadership

About NewGen

At NewGen, we're a global social creative and creator agency made up of over 100 talented people worldwide, with offices in London (UK), Manchester (UK), and New York (USA). We partner with leading brands to shape culture, tell stories that matter, and harness the power of social-first creative and creators to drive meaningful impact. As a fast-growing agency with a collaborative, ambitious spirit, we bring together data, strategy, creativity, and innovation to deliver work that actually cuts through, connects, and creates conversation.

Founded by our 30-under-30 co-founders, NewGen is an independent agency working with some of the world's biggest brands. Privately owned and built to challenge the big networks and stale traditional agencies, we move fast, live social, and know that our fresh ideas can compete with anyone.

Our work is trusted by some of the world's biggest brands, including Pepsi, Samsung, Amazon, SEGA, and Cash App. Just as importantly, we're the agency of choice for leading creators shaping culture today, from KSI and Amelia Dimoldenberg to PewDiePie. When the people driving conversations and influencing audiences trust us, it's no surprise that the world's most ambitious brands do too.

Want to join the team? Here are our non-negotiables.

  • Energy - Get involved, be heard, and contribute. This isn't the place for an easy ride; we want people who bring energy and ideas.
  • Quality - Quality comes first. If it doesn't feel right, speak up. Everything we create should push boundaries and break new ground.
  • Collaboration - We win as a team. No egos, no judgment, just support, collaboration, and collective success.
  • Creativity - We thrive on fresh thinking. New ideas and bold approaches are what keep us moving forward.
  • Partnership - Be a great partner to our clients. Everything we do should deliver on their objectives and create a positive, collaborative experience. This is paramount.

Where you'll be based

This role is anchored in our New York office, working day-to-day alongside our US influencer and account teams, joining regular check-ins, briefings, gaming client reviews, and creator calls in person. We're open to fully remote candidates (US-based only) for the right person, but this is reserved for very experienced hires who bring an established gaming creator network and can plug straight into a fast-moving team from day one with minimal ramp-up.

The Role

We're looking for a permanent, full-time Influencer Manager to lead hands-on delivery across live influencer and creator campaigns for our client roster, with a particular focus on gaming clients and gaming-adjacent creator partnerships (our roster includes SEGA, among others). This is an execution-focused role for someone who knows how to run influencer campaigns end-to-end, from casting through to reporting, and who genuinely lives and breathes gaming culture.

You'll work closely with senior influencer leads and cross-functional teams, bringing structure, pace, and creator know-how to always-on gaming and entertainment programs. Above all, we want someone who understands that influencer marketing isn't transactional; it's about relationships, cultural relevance, and delivering programs that gaming audiences actually care about.

As an Influencer Manager (Gaming) at NewGen, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end campaign delivery - Own briefing, casting, contracting, content review, posting, and reporting, keeping every workstream on track and on time.
  • Source and vet gaming creators - Identify and evaluate gaming influencers, streamers, and creators against brief requirements, from micro to top-tier talent across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord.
  • Own day-to-day creator relationships - Communicate with creators, agents, and managers to keep partnerships smooth, professional, and on schedule.
  • Support negotiations and contracting - Assist with fee negotiations, usage rights, and contract terms, working within agreed budgets.
  • Coordinate across teams - Partner with strategy, creative, and account teams to keep influencer workstreams integrated into wider gaming and entertainment campaigns.
  • Report on performance - Track and report on campaign delivery and performance metrics for internal and client review, including gaming-specific platform metrics (concurrent viewership, engagement, community sentiment).
  • Stay ahead of gaming culture - Keep a pulse on new titles, platform trends, esports moments, and emerging gaming creators so NewGen's programs stay culturally relevant.

Social first x brand impact

To succeed here, you need a deep understanding of the gaming and creator ecosystem, an instinct for which voices truly influence gaming culture, and the ability to translate that insight into authentic, high-impact brand partnerships. This role is about understanding influence beyond follower counts, from community-led creators and emerging talent to established gaming names, and knowing how to activate them in ways that feel real, relevant, and effective.

It's ok to be 'chronically online'; in fact, for this role, we'd expect nothing less.

What we're looking for

  • 4-5+ years' experience in influencer marketing or creator partnerships, agency or brand-side
  • A clear, demonstrable gaming background - prior experience working with gaming publishers, platforms, esports organisations, or gaming-focused creator/talent management is essential
  • Established relationships with gaming creators, streamers, agents, and talent managers (Twitch, YouTube Gaming, TikTok, Discord)
  • Genuine fluency in gaming culture - titles, platforms, esports, and online gaming communities
  • Experience managing influencer campaigns end-to-end, from casting through to reporting
  • Confidence negotiating fees, usage rights, and contract terms
  • Comfortable using influencer and project management tools/platforms
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to get up to speed quickly
