  • Mon/Wed/Fri: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM OR 2:00 PM–12:00 AM
  • Tue/Thu/Sat: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM OR 2:00 PM–12:00 AM

Are you passionate about supporting adolescents and building a meaningful career in behavioral health? New Haven is hiring a Direct Support Professional / Youth Mentor to work directly with teen girls in a structured, therapeutic residential setting.

New Haven is a nationally recognized residential treatment center serving adolescent girls ages 14–18. Our Spanish Fork campus provides a warm, homelike environment where mental health care, traumainformed support, and academics come together. We help teens and families navigate emotional regulation, relational challenges, and behavioral health needs using a familycentered, strengthsbased approach.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in or pursuing careers in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral science, or human services, and for those seeking handson experience as a Direct Support Professional, Behavioral Health Technician, or Youth Mentor.


  • Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents
  • Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming

  • Support the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation

  • Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits

  • Maintain a safe, structured, traumainformed environment

  • Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans

  • Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership

  • Use safe verbal deescalation and physical intervention skills when needed

Paid training provided, including substance use recovery support and crisis intervention techniques.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a Utah State background check
  • Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before the first day of work
