Job description

McCarthy Auto Group is continuously growing and is currently looking to fill a full time service advisor position. We are looking for an experienced candidate that has strong written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail and strives to provide excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity to join the McCarthy Hyundai- Lawrence team!


 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Greet customers, listen to customer concerns and write detailed service orders based on customer concerns
  • Review vehicle report for recalls that need completed and verify applicable warranty’s
  •  Answering phones, schedule appointments, review recommended/ upcoming services
  • Communicate to technicians throughout the process of repairs to keep customer updated
  • Provide cost estimate of mechanical and maintenance repairs
  • Maintain customer satisfaction score at or above dealership standards


 Job requirement:

  • Reynolds and Reynolds DMS knowledge preferred but not required
  • 1 year service writing experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong desire to sell
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems preferred but not required
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
