We're a family-owned shop where the people on the floor are the heart of the business. We're hiring a self-motivated Tool and Die Maker to join our team.If you know your way around progressive and compound dies, enjoy working with a team, and like keeping production moving, we want to hear from you.Why You'll Love Working HereA stable, family-owned company with deep roots and a 65+ year track record - no layoffs-and-rehire churn.A modern press floor with 30+ presses ranging from 40 to 400 tons, including a 330-ton servo press.Full service toolroom.Real ownership of your tool builds - you manage job from cutting steel to first-article samples.A team that invests in its people and supports you in growing your skills.A predictable first-shift schedule - home for dinner.What You'll DoMaintain and troubleshoot progressive, compound, and transfer tooling.Manage new tooling projects from start to finish.Prepare tooling for production runs - troubleshooting, grooming, and recommend set-up improvements.Operate manual toolroom machines such as lathes, vertical mills, and surface grinders.Support our apprentice program and be a willing participant in the training of our future toolmakers.Keep your work areas clean and organized.Take an active part in our safety initiatives.Occasional overtime which may include Saturdays.What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent.Completion or current enrollment in an accredited Tool and Die program (such as TMA).Ability to use and understand all measuring devices and gages, including the calibration process.Basic English reading and verbal communication skills.Ability to pass our company ISO, English, and Math assessments. Nice to Have3+ years of toolroom experience.Journeyman card.Hands-on experience with all toolroom machinery.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsA hands-on shop role: standing, walking, and using your hands throughout the workday, with regular bending, stooping, or twisting.Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds.Vision of 20/40 (with or without correction) and the ability to communicate clearly on the floor.Stamina to work all assigned hours, including overtime as needed.Comfort in a shop environment with ongoing exposure to metalworking machinery, loud noise, dust, mist, oils, and solvents.Ready to Apply?Send us your resume and we'll be in touch.
