Six Flags Darien Lake is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Full-Time Electrician to join our Maintenance team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across the park, including rides, attractions, facilities, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in rides, attractions, buildings, and park facilities.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and controls.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.

  • Respond promptly to electrical service calls and operational needs.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.


Qualifications:Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Valid New York State electrician license (if applicable) preferred.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of electrical maintenance experience, industrial or commercial setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
