Friendship is looking for a
Full-Time Wellness Coordinator to join our Friendship Independent Living team, located on Hershberger Road. The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the overall promotion, organization, and leadership of recreation programs.
Qualifications:
- Personal Training Certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CPR certification required
- ReNew Active/Silver Sneakers Certification required (can be obtained while at Friendship)
- Nutrition Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develops and leads daily group exercise classes for residents and ReNew Active/Silver Sneakers participants
- Works with internal Wellness Committee to create, communicate and manage employee wellness activities
- Comply with facility safety and health guidelines
- Assists with collection of payment for classes
- Maintains cleanliness of pool
- Manages monthly wellness calendar
- Creates monthly wellness based lectures, trips, etc.
- Works well with volunteers, family, co-workers and outside community
Hours:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
