Job description

Steel Fabrication Welder
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Steel Fabrication Welder for a company based in Vinemont, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipes to create a variety of customized structures.
Pay Rate
$19
Schedule and Hours
6:30am-4:30pm M-F
Duties and Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work
• Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specification
• Upholds accurate records of materials used on “ticket”; locates and pulls required materials from inventory
• Utilizes a variety of hands tools, saws, and cutting equipment and performs other related duties as assigned
• Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions
Qualifications and Requirements
• Must have welding experience
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds, lifting test to be administered
• Background check and drug screen required
• Capable of carrying out a given task with details necessary to get the task done well
