Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking a Welder (HEAVY TRUCK/HEAVY EQUIPMENT) in the Huntsville, AL / North Alabama operations area, Alabama SMA reporting to the General Manager of Construction & Superintendent. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.
Job Details:
  • Wages start at $22.00hr, starting wage based on experience.
  • Fulltime/Permanent
  • Day Shift
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble metal for repairing damage
  • Expertly welds small, medium, and large bore pipe of various metals and alloys.
  • Read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
  • Inspect welds

Qualifications:
  • Qualified applicants must be able to learn to read blueprints and fabricate metal products with little or no assistance.
  • Must have fabrication welding experience.
  • Field Experience is a plus
  • Applicant must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to pass pre-employment and random drug test.
  • Minimum of 1-year fabrication welding experience working with heavy truck/equipment required.
  • Previous Weld Certification preferred but not required.
