Job description

Position Purpose:

The role of the Social Media Response Livestream Specialist is to support the Ministry's livestreams and webinars by ensuring the live chat is moderated accurately and professionally. This includes engaging directly with our livestream viewers as a moderator, as well as assisting in the training and oversight of our volunteer moderators. The Livestream Specialist also corresponds with and works alongside their Lead, their fellow Specialists, and other staff members, departments, and offices to share and obtain information needed to support the livestreams and improve processes for the Team, the livestream viewers, and the Ministry at large.

The Specialist is a self-motivated, self-directed, personable individual who is an excellent communicator and able to work both independently and as a member of a team. This person must be able to take ownership of tasks assigned and work independently within the scope of the assignments. When needed, they must be available to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. The Specialist is also trustworthy, dependable, and capable of faithfully performing their job from home whenever applicable.

Essential Duties:

  • Engage with livestream viewers as a moderator on behalf of AWM, Charis, GTN, T&L, and ARMI on various platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and the GTN website; this includes some weekend and evening streams
  • Provide professional and engaging ministry communication that is encouraging and tactful
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience to each unique social media contact
  • Encourage social media audiences to connect with our ministry in deeper ways
  • Accurately represent Andrew's heart and doctrine across all social media platforms
  • Support the Lead in ensuring all livestreams and webinars utilizing the chat feature are moderated. This includes assisting with determining coverage needs, scheduling and filling shifts, and supplying all necessary instructions, templates, tools, access/permissions, and resources for the volunteer moderators
  • Assist in training and supporting the volunteers
  • Participate in weekly team meetings with the SM Response Livestream Lead and SM Response Supervisor
  • Prepare for and attend pre-conference informational meetings with other departments
  • Create and maintain livestream templates and Planning Center schedules for all livestream events
  • Update livestream training materials as necessary
  • Assist with other functions of the Social Media Response Team
  • Assist with other functions of the Written Operations Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Andrew Wommack's teaching
  • Must have a high level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and etiquette
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience utilizing and maneuvering YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms
  • Ability to handle multiple platforms simultaneously and switch between platforms efficiently, and to work well under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and to work well under pressure
  • Experience using Facebook and other social media platforms
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision-making
  • Above-average Windows-based computer navigation skills and typing speeds; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
  • Must pass all required checks

Experience:

  • Ministry experience required
  • Customer service experience is required
  • Communication Services or previous livestream volunteer experience preferred
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
