Assistant Webinar Moderator Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Duties Description The Employee Program Assistant is responsible for the design and delivery of training programs and services offered by the Partnership. This includes, presenting courses for State employees, presenting at conferences and developing and presenting to labor-management committees throughout New York State. This could include the development of courses, training and customized facilitation and consultation with local, regional and Statewide Labor-Management Committees.

Extensive travel throughout the State is required, including some weekends. Duties include but are not limited to: Training and Outreach: Present and train educational programs at conferences, State agencies and on-line. Attend meetings and conferences to meet State employees to promote Partnership programs.

Provide customized outreach and marketing efforts to New York State employees. Participate in a variety of work groups to promote all Partnership programs and services to CSEA- represented employees and their agencies throughout the State. Support instructional staff in delivery of course materials, including hosting webinars and online classes.

Serve as a host for webinars and online training. Manage technical aspects of webinar as moderator, ensuring the uninterrupted flow of information and interaction between presenters and participants. Curriculum Development and Review: Assist in development, review and editing of training curriculum.

Assist in the identification and development of online learning certificate tracks and blended learning approaches to meet the needs of employees and agencies. Labor Management Training: Identify the need for training, consultation and intervention assistance for Labor-Management Committees throughout the State. Act as a credible and neutral liaison to labor and management representatives.

Conduct on-site assessments of committees, develop proposals for training and other interventions and establish plans to develop collaboration between the parties. Monitor and review the quality of curriculum by analyzing participant evaluations and feedback from labor-management stakeholders. Conduct post-training follow-up with Labor-Management Committees, including coached meetings, evaluations and other consultation services.

Provide customized outreach and marketing efforts to organizations that have not participated in labor-management training to ensure training is balanced across regions and agencies. Attend and make presentations as needed at Statewide Labor-Management Committee meetings and conferences, education and training subcommittee meetings and CSEA statewide events. Keep abreast of issues affecting labor-management relations in the workplace.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience.* Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training adults in traditional and non-traditional settings. Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint)

Ability to deal with multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a team setting. Ability to act as a credible and neutral liaison to labor and management representatives, while promoting collaboration between the two. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license that allows candidate to operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment.

Occasional weekend work required to participate in conferences and events. Experience in a labor-management setting preferred *Substitutions: four years of specialized experience or associate's degree and two years of specialized experience may substitute for bachelor's degree; J.D. or master's degree may substitute for one year of specialized experience; Ph.D

may substitute for two years of specialized experience. Additional Comments Work Hours and Telecommuting will be discussed during the interview.
