Job description

Can you see yourself as the calm after the storm-literally? If you're ready to step up, work hard, and take pride in helping people rebuild, Icon Property Rescue in Milford, OH needs YOU as our full-time Water Mitigation Support Technician! This role pays $18-$20/hour, with premium rates available.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility for the occasional emergency call, night, or weekend
  • A positive, team-first attitude

Preferred candidates will have prior experience in construction, demolition, or property restoration, along with a basic understanding of water, fire, or mold damage cleanup. Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as OSHA 10 certification or other safety training, is a plus!
THE REALITY OF THE ROLE
This is not a typical 9-to-5. This is a dynamic, on-call position where your hours depend entirely on emergency call volume-some weeks might be 15 hours, others might be 50. If you need a rigid schedule, this isn't it. If you want flexibility, unpredictable days, and a massive opportunity to learn a high-paying skill set, read on.
What You'll Do
  • The Hustle: Act as a critical support tech on emergency water mitigation jobs (setting equipment, extraction, demolition).
  • The Brains: Shadow our Project Managers to learn the documentation, compliance, and field-scoping side of the business on the fly.

Who You Are
  • Adaptable: You thrive on an unpredictable schedule and odd hours.
  • Tech-Savvy & Detailed: You can swing a hammer, but you also understand that if a job isn't documented properly on a tablet, it didn't happen.
  • Ambitious: You don't want to just carry equipment forever; you want to learn the project management side to advance your career.

WHY WE EXIST:
Since our company began in 2004, Icon Property Rescue has remained steadfast in our mission to help others during some of life's most challenging moments. We are the Greater Cincinnati area's premier choice for water, fire, and mold restoration services, providing 24/7 support when disasters or emergencies strike.
