Job description

Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary:
Full Time Warehouse Order Pickers are a part of the Warehouse picking and loading team and prepare beverage orders for distribution.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and accurately pick customer orders using scanner or voice-guided systems.
  • Scan and verify product type, case count, size, and accuracy using handheld devices or company technology.
  • Build and stack pallets with beverage products following assigned load tickets.
  • Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to move products from inventory pallets to sales pallets.
  • Properly shrink-wrap, label, and stage completed pallets for shipping.
  • Load trucks with completed pallets for outbound delivery.
  • Unload trucks with empty pallets/kegs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse (aisle upkeep, empty pallets, trash, etc.).
  • Adhere to safety procedures and support warehouse security protocols.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience operating electronic pallet jack and forklift preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow pick instructions accurately.
  • Ability to perform warehouse duties safely and efficiently.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, yet independent environment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20- 50 lbs. regularly. Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work may span multiple temperature zones (dry, cool, frozen).
