As Senior Manager, Quality Assurance, you'll help define and execute the quality strategy for one of Walmart's fastest-evolving Walmart Brand businesses. From development through launch, you'll ensure products consistently meet customer expectations for performance and value—all at an unmatched global scale. This role goes far beyond product testing. You'll serve as a strategic quality leader, influencing product development from concept through production, partnering across Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, Global Quality, and Compliance. You'll use data, supplier insights, and technical expertise to elevate quality performance while helping shape the future of Walmart's Home portfolio. If you're energized by solving complex quality challenges, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement across a global supply base, we'd love to meet you The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance, leads the development and execution of comprehensive quality programs to ensure consistent service delivery and supplier performance. This role oversees quality audits, process improvements, and training initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness. By managing quality assurance frameworks and driving continuous improvement, the position supports business objectives and customer satisfaction. About the team:
The Quality Assurance team is dedicated to upholding customer trust through consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. This team addresses complex quality challenges by collaborating across functions and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Members focus on supplier quality management, risk analysis, and quality management systems to enhance product standards. The team fosters a culture of accountability, effective communication, and leadership to implement corrective and preventive actions. By leveraging data and industry best practices, they ensure processes meet business needs and support ongoing development to maintain excellence in manufacturing and service quality.
What you'll do:
Drive Category Quality Strategy Lead quality initiatives across an array of product categories, ensuring products consistently deliver on Walmart's promise of quality, value, and build customer trust. Partner Across the Business Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Design, Global Sourcing, Compliance, Packaging, and Supplier Quality teams to integrate quality into every stage of the product lifecycle. Influence Supplier Performance Build strong partnerships with global suppliers and manufacturing partners, using performance metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen quality systems and manufacturing capability. Make Data-Driven Decisions Analyze quality metrics, customer feedback, and testing results to identify trends, prioritize risks, and implement scalable improvements that enhance customer satisfaction. Champion Product Excellence Deliver on right first-time quality in development. Provide technical leadership on performance specifications, testing requirements, validation protocols, and quality standards to ensure products meet and exceed customer expectations. Lead Continuous Improvement Drive preventive quality initiatives using structured problem-solving tools, statistical analysis, and process improvement methodologies to reduce defects and improve consistency across the supply base. Be the Voice of the Customer Translate customer insights into meaningful quality improvements that strengthen Walmart Brand reputation and build long-term customer trust.
What you'll bring:
  • Proven leadership experience in quality assurance, material science, and supplier quality management within manufacturing or related industries.
  • Expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating quality management systems and continuous improvement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), risk analysis, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze quality data, identify gaps, and recommend actionable solutions to enhance product and service quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver clear quality reports and training.
  • Experience managing complex quality assurance programs and driving operational excellence through effective team development.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
