Registered Nurse (RN) - Extended Care - FT
Glendive Medical Center | Glendive, Montana Full-Time | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Starting Wage: $31.63+/hour (based on experience) + Applicable Differentials
Providing Compassionate Care That Makes a Difference
Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care team. In this role, you'll provide skilled nursing care, oversee resident care delivery, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
What You'll Do
  • Asses, monitor, and evaluate resident health status
  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
  • Document assessments, care, and resident progress accurately
  • Collaborate with providers, residents, families, and care team members
  • Identify and report changes in resident conditions
  • Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Supervise and support CNAs and other non-licensed staff
  • Promote compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and facility policies
  • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or Compact License
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor staff
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer programs

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Ability to perform the physical demands associated with direct resident care

Schedule Details
  • Full-time, three 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required

Compensation and Employee Benefits
In addition to competitive pay, we offer recruitment incentives such as a sign-on, relocation, retention, and tuition reimbursement specific to the candidate. Wages are based years of experience as outlined in the Union contract.
