  • Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospitalโ€™s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
  • Provides direct patient care in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
  • Monitors patients during exercise sessions.
  • Nursing responsibilities focus on the preventive and restorative healthcare needs of the cardiovascular patient. Provides patient education on disease entities, cardiac risk factors, behavior modification.
  • Communicates with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Medical Director and the patientโ€™s physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including laboratory tests and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patientโ€™s condition and response to treatment

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from and accredited Exercise Physiologist Program
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience Prefer one year of experience as an Exercise Physiologist in the area of application.
