Key Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Monolingual and bilingual professionals welcome, with Spanish/English skills in high demand
- Additional preferred languages: Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese
- Strong communication, collaborative, and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students, following IEPs and best clinical practices
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough records
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational and therapeutic needs
- Provide screenings, therapy, and consultative support within the school community
- Advocate for students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
