POSITION/LEVEL: Vice President, Leasing FLSA STATUS: Exempt

DEPT/OFFICE: Leasing DATE: August 2026


JOB SUMMARY AND DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK:

The Vice President, Leasing is responsible for the execution of lease transactions from start to finish. This position will also support driving the leasing and marketing strategy for the project. This role represents Industry City to potential tenants and the brokerage community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in commercial Real Estate as a Broker or Landlord Representative

• Track record of strategic thought, creativity, and subject-matter expertise

• Broad and pre-existing relationships, with an impeccable reputation among the community of commercial tenants and brokers

• Knowledge of landlord and tenant construction practices

• Experience running deals from start to finish (i.e., procuring, negotiating deal terms, drafting letters of intent and negotiating leases)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Strong financial acumen

• Thorough understanding of regional markets and participants – knowledge of Brooklyn a plus.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Conduct broker outreach and general canvassing to both Brokers and C-suite executives

• Oversee and drive various leasing related projects and outreach initiatives

• Conduct site tours with brokers and prospective tenants

• Negotiate entire life cycle of deals, from LOI through lease signing, in coordination with IC legal team and outside counsel

• Collaborate with Asset Management on vetting and underwriting prospective tenants

• Coordinate with other departments (i.e., Development, Operations, Property Management) to ensure prompt space delivery and seamless move-in for new tenants.

• Provide and maintain in-depth knowledge regarding competitors, consumers, and market trends

• Attend relevant industry events

• Think strategically about IC co-tenancy and synergies with prospective Tenants

• Collaborate with Asset Management on production of leasing related reports and analyses

• Be part of a team that strategizes lease marketing materials and how to reach the broader market; i.e. drafting copy, photography, flyer programs etc.
