Your Role:

Senior Veterinary Sales Representative: Tacoma

As a Senior Veterinary Sales Representative, you will be a disruptive force in the Tacoma, Washington territory, responsible for driving growth and building strong client connections with veterinary customers. You will play a pivotal role in our success during a historic launch period for Elanco's Pet Health organization,leveragingyourexpertiseto meet and exceed sales goals with our innovative portfolio of products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to drive product placement and achieve sales goals with key veterinary hospitals and clinics.

  • Provide leadership and influence for distributor representatives within the territory, ensuring alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

  • Build andmaintainstrong, impactful partnerships with key decision-makers in veterinary practices, from independent clinics to corporate hospitals.

  • Serve as the key liaison with local andstateveterinary medical associations (VMAs), coordinating Elanco's presence and efforts at major events.

  • Plan and execute impactful product launch events and educational meetings in partnership with veterinary services to drive adoption and expand Elanco's market share.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education:Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent level of experience.

  • Experience:A minimum of 4 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience in a competitive, complex selling environment (e.g., human health medical device, orthopedic sales).

  • Top Skills:Demonstratedcompetitive drive with a proventrack recordof success and the ability to strategically manage a complex portfolio of products across diverse customer accounts.

  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does notanticipateproviding sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Elanco currentlyanticipatesthat the base salary for this position could range from$85,000to$144,000depending partly on the successful candidate's qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employeesalso willbe eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
