Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the used car sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of used car inventory, pricing, and market trends
  • Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Collaborate with other dealership departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management

```Our used car department is growing and we are looking for a talented individual to help us expand and sell used vehicles!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attends local auctions in effort to purchase and stock vehicles in our dealerships
  • Purchase used vehicles online by utilizing used car sites and forecasting the needs of used vehicle inventory at the dealerships.
  • Understand market trends and changes to trends in geographic market.
  • Provide guidance and support to dealership Sales Associates as it relates to purchasing used vehicles.
  • Appraise used vehicles.
  • Established personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation.
  • Maintains a prospect development system of current used vehicle prospects and schedules appointments to appraise and purchase used vehicles.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Previous experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of previous online purchasing experiencerequired.
  • V-Auto experience preferred
  • Previous auction and dealership selling or marketing experience REQUIRED..
