As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a government location, you will welcome visitors, support access control and badging processes, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service. You will help maintain a secure, organized environment through clear communication and attention to site procedures. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government water management facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk and serve as a professional point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access to the facility, observe lobby and entry activity, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services or designated personnel when needed.
• Assist with communications, phone inquiries, directions, and administrative support related to front-desk operations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
