Job description

This position requires a current KY State electrical card. Must be able to work any shift and maintain and repair underground mining equipment and machinery. .

The essential function of this position are as follows:

1. Emergency and Preventative Maintenance, including electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair/replacement of component parts, on all production and support equipment.

2. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, i.e. greasing, fluid checks, oil and filter change, etc.

3. Perform permissibility checks

4. Welding and acetylene torch cutting repair and mechanical fabricating.

5. Splicing equipment cables as needed.

6. Weld belt drives and starter boxes.
