Job description

Are you looking for an awesome job where you get to make a difference every day? If so, UCP Oregon might have the perfect job for you!

UCP Oregon is an exciting and empowering place to work. We help adults who experience developmental disabilities to live the life of their dreams-whether that's living independently, working in a great job, or pursuing their interests and hobbies.

We're currently seeking a full-time caregiver "Personal Assistant" for a kind-hearted, engaging man who lives in his own apartment in NE Portland. He is easy-going and loves others with a big sense of humor that can match his own. He enjoys his independence above all else and has a variety of interests such as watching old-time movies, listening to old country and psychobilly rock albums, meeting up with friends in the community, and collecting trucks and trains.

Back at his home in NE Portland, you'll support him with daily living activities including showering, bathroom use, transfers, dressing, and medication administration. You'll also assist with household chores and meal preparation. He is eager to work with a personal assistant who will listen to him and allow him to be as independent as possible.

He lives close to the MAX for those who rely on public transit and together you will often take a TriMet Lift to various locations.

Schedule:

You'll work one shift per week totaling 41 hours: Saturday 9:00PM - Monday 2:00PM.

*You'll also work your regular hours on Agency holidays for all schedules.
