Job Summary:
Envision Toyota of Milpitas is seeking a Parts Counterman to join our team in Milpitas, California. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission in the auto industry. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor with a strong knowledge of automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills. As a Parts Counterman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and accurate service.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and determine their parts needs
• Lookup, locate, and order parts from suppliers
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting with parts selection
• Process parts orders and payments accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Keep the parts department clean and organized
• Stay up-to-date on new products and technologies in the automotive industry
• Assist in creating special promotions and displays to attract customers
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Parts Counterman or in a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including part numbers, functions, and compatibility
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Excel and inventory management systems
• Detail-oriented and organized
