The Dallas Arboretum is looking for an energetic, people-first Lead, Guest Experience Ticket Booth professional to help bring our guest experience to life! In this role, you’ll lead a dynamic team at the front lines, ensuring every guest interaction (whether at the ticket booth or over the phone) is welcoming, smooth, and memorable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Lead & Inspire

  • Guide, coach, and support team members in daily operations
  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and collaborative team environment

Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences

  • Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism (in person and over the phone)
  • Help guests book tickets and navigate their visit with ease
  • Answer questions about the garden, events, and offerings

Be the Go-To Problem Solver

  • Serve as the first point of contact for resolving guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • De-escalate situations and turn challenges into positive experiences

Support Efficient Operations

  • Ensure team adherence to Dallas Arboretum policies and service standards
  • Assist with basic cash handling and ticketing processes
  • Step in wherever needed across Guest Experience department to keep things running smoothly


Requirements:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· High school graduate or G.E.D.

· Customer service experience required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Computer experience required (Microsoft Office products).

· Physical ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions.

· Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and seasonal evening hours.

· Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements including a background check and drug test
