Job Summary:
Tesla is a company dedicated to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop secure and intuitive payment components that enhance customer experiences and support business expansion.
Responsibilities:
• Develop secure, intuitive, fast, and visually appealing payment components used across Tesla’s diverse business lines, supporting our expansion into new markets and partnerships
• Apply first-principles thinking to optimize processes and practices, enhancing customer experiences
• Collaborate with other engineering team to design and implement solutions end to end
• Prioritize clear, comprehensive documentation for new features and ensure compatibility with existing integrations
• Demonstrate ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels in the organization and across multiple disciplines
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, proof of exceptional skills in related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Node.js, Express, TypeScript
• Have a working knowledge of Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Fuze
• Proficient in building Scalable Architectures
• Prior experience and track record of delivering secure, high-performance, and pixel-perfect web applications
• Experience with React Native, iOS, Android, or cross-platform UI design system packages is a plus
• Passion for Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy
