Job description

Phoenix Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Tennis Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for a passionate coach who enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels in both group and private settings. You’ll be part of a vibrant tennis community with opportunities to grow programming and build strong member relationships.

Compensation:

  • $45 – $70 per hour for on-court coaching

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality private and group lessons for both junior and adult players
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to varying skill levels
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and professional environment on and off the court
  • Assist with tennis programming, events, and clinics
  • Build strong relationships with club members and promote participation

Schedule & Expectations:

  • 35–40 hours per week, approximately 5.5 days per week
  • Must be available for weekend mornings and some evenings
  • Flexible start date
  • Option to take July off if desired

Qualifications:

  • Certified Tennis Professional (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of coaching experience
  • Proven ability to coach both juniors and adults in group and private settings
  • Strong playing background and on-court presence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred  Skills:

  • Racquet stringing experience
  • High-level playing experience
