Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Escalation in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and direct resources to support timely responses. You will provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain an organized, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications facility.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document requests for assistance, and coordinate the deployment of appropriate personnel and resources in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and communication documentation using site systems and established reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, while monitoring for unusual activity and conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
