As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Monitoring in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site policies.
• Control entry and exit points for personnel, guests, vendors, and deliveries; report unauthorized access attempts and irregular conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
